    why did marquez make such a big jump? did one of his opponents have a good outing, making his victory that much more impressive? anyone know?

      I think somebody hacked the boxrec website and changed the algorithms that computes those rankings.

        I forget where I read in an interview that some site did with boxrec on how they get their rankings. They base it on like titles or something. Not on fighter records or who the fighters are. Something like that. Cause someone asked why Vitali wasn't in like the top 5 with Byrd, Golota, Brewster, Ruiz, and I think Mccline in those spots at the time. They mentioned, that even though Vitali has beaten all his competition with KOs and looking good after the Lewis fight, they didn't have belts or something to move him up. They have a reason, a real dumb confusing one, though it's there. Theres a better site with records which I've forgotten the name of. Boxrec does have a lot of false information.
