Even though SRR best weight was at WW his resume at MW is damn good still. My top 4 doesn't change.
1. Greb
2. SRR
3. Monzon
4. Hagler
IMO they're the greatest MW's of all time. Now #5 is a bit tricky for me anyways. I think you can put quite a few names on their. I go with Lamotta at #5, I just liked what he did there.
5. Lamotta
But, guys like Ketchell and Fitzsimmons can easily replace him.
To me, MW is the greatest, deepest, most talented division of all time right behind WW.Last edited by jrosales13; 10-04-2011, 11:03 AM.Comment

No, I'm not saying he did nothing at MW. But when people rate him they always rate him as a MW as if he never existed as a WW. he was 73–1 when he won the welterweight title. How many of those were over the limit?
My man, Robinson fought 137 time over the welterweight limit and won the middleweight title 5 times. At 5' 11" he was definitely a middleweight for much of his career. On that note, he was a greater welter for sure, but his accomplishments at 160 are just to great to overlook.Comment
