"I like Kelly," said Arum from his offices in Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon. "I think Kelly, with a little fine tuning and training, can take any middleweight in the world. We're going to start moving him next year."
But that doesn't necessarily mean taking on the winner of the Jermain Taylor-Bernard Hopkins rematch in early December.
"The titles are going to be fragmented," said Arum.
And he's correct, since the IBF title was abdicated by Taylor just recently.
"Kelly is right up there so he'll fight for one of the titles. I would put him in tomorrow with a Kingsley Ikeke or Sam Soliman. And we offered to fight Winky Wright, which was turned down."
Very, Very Interesting. Like I said Kelly is too dangerous and the top middleweights want nothing to do with him.
