Honestly. If you really go back and try to remember all of the controversial or fights that Floyd supposedly cheated in. Cortez is always the referee.

Joe Cortez should retire. He isn't cut for World Championship fights anymore and as well as regular boxing matches. Probably exhibition matches he can referee those type of fights.

He should retire. Give the young ones a chance to make a name for themselves. All I see are these old referees and sometimes their incompetence really does affect the match.

Referees should be almost invisible. Joe Cortez was too busy reciting his gay little slogan that he forgot to keep his eyes glued to the action.

it speaks volumes when a lower end orginization like the WBO decides its best to not have you involved in their title fights based on the way you conducted yourself in a major prize fight.

Haha, true that, I am boycotting all Cortez-referee'd bouts from now on.... that probably isn't true, but he does indeed suck, and needs to be told so by the relevant athletic commissions
