One thing has nothing to do with the other. Margarito who beat Cintron would absolutely brutalize Canelo. If you think Canelo beats Kermit because he has mentally crapped out in some of his bigger fights ok but to use the Margarito fight makes no sense. Kermit has looked pretty lethargic recently so ill slightly favor Canelo but imo this will be his first decent test.

Canelo seems to have a weak body. He was peppered with body shots by Gomez and it slowed down Alvarez's movement significantly. I'm not sure if Cintron would do better. I'm sure Margarito will.

Strangely enough canelo would do an upper catchweight fight with chavez jr but refuses to fight the likes of a good competitor at 154...instead he settles for someone who's nearly out the door in boxing.

IF Cotto rocked Canelito ( i know he has improved since) what would a wild uppercut from cintron do?

I think Canelo beats Cintron up, but Canelo has yet to prove he's in the same league as Margarito.

Agree! canelo has not shown me anything to make me believe he would blowout or brutalize cintron in the same fashion margarito did.


but based on kermit last two fights you have to favor canelo

the sad truth about canelo is that even though cintron has looked like crap in has last two fights
