I don't think he meant to really do much at 140 as he was already trying to line himself up with a fight with De La Hoya. Not for nothing, but Floyd was still in his physical prime even at 140 though the competition he fought was lack luster.

harris, gatti, cotto, hatton, tszyu and mayweather were the top 140 fighters at the time mayweather beats gatti harris loses to maussa and tszyu loses to hatton which leaves hatton cotto and floyd neither of them fought each other and neither miguel nor ricky wanted to fight floyd when they were all at 140 but yea floyds resume at 140 is nothing to brag about

Floyd's resume at 130 is also overrated as ****! Hell now that I think about it, his whole career. Guess the standards for black americans is lower to be great.

Floyds resume is weak at JWW, but so is it in many other divisions he fought.
He has one fight in a division then gets itchy feet and then wants to fight a weak champion in another division, like a predator. Looks for the easiest pray.
