    Barker-Lee could be interesting.

    Make it happen.

Barker did great up until he QUIT. That last punch was 80% blocked he was just tired of getting potshotted and buckled. Head punch knockouts dont make you squirm in pain. Pretty good acting, but those who know Boxing saw that he quit and took a dive

Poor guy is delusional. He was never in control, he was embarrassed out of the United States of America.

It was a valiant effort but nothing like he describes it.

He fought well enough. A fight against Macklin would be good for now. Both are coming off valiant losing efforts against world champions. The winner could get another shot.

yeah, props to him. he did his homework and put up a fight, nothing to be ashamed about at all. i say he just continues fighting top middleweights from here on out. if he's succesful, the title shot will come.

              LOL.

Those who know boxing would see 3 punches before the blow he went down from there was a right hook which perforated Barkers ear drum and the balance goes in his legs. He is then hit 3 punches later in the same place.

People like you with comments like that annoy me, so quick to criticise.

It's just terrible when people sit behind computers and talk crap about fighters who give honest efforts in the ring. I was at ringside and saw the knockout, he was out of it from the previous round. Unfortunately you don't know how to interpret much of what you see in the ring because you lack a firm understanding of the sport.

Luckily this posters comment is not the accepted perspective of what happened, so his attempt to bring the sport down will ultimately fail.

people need to get real about Barker's performce -- he never made a sustained effort to win the fight, which is just about the worst thing you can say about a title challenger -- he had a million opportunities to land punches on Martinez, who was practically begging him to enage so he could counterpunch but Barker hardly ever did so -- off what he did, I don't see why anyone would be more that mildly interested in seeing him again....
