Tarver arguably won all three fights. I think it's safe to say he's the better fighter.

Apparently, he said there is no rematch clause in this fight. If he loses his belt, that's it. He says he doesn't need rematches and that he will get the job done the first time.

Boxing would be so much better if the rematch clause was eliminated entirely. Do it right the first time. It doesn't mean as much when you beat a guy after you've already been in the ring with him. Almost all of the time, the better man wins the first time around.

I disagree I think a champion should have a right to try to regain there glory if they choose too......I mean look at this Hopkins/Taylor debalacle Taylor would not fight Hopkins again if he did not Have to fight Hopkins again because he knows he lost last time you could see it in his eyes right before the decision and he knows he willl clearly lose this time.

Read the Ring article and all of the ringside reporters scores....the trend is anything but what you four say but I know how it goes and yes technically he won but it was razor thin either way and in a fight that close a rematch is definetly acceptable as in most championship fights....Vitali will be singing a different tune should he lose but it is noble of him to say what he has said I will give him that.
