Man, Gavin has looked like he's getting worse since turning pro. He has no business at WW he doesnt even look cut at Jr WW. Time to get in shape and show some of the talent he boasts about

I personally don't think Gavin has any business at 147. But if Tibbs says that's a good weight for him, then who am I to disagree?

Look what he's done for Mitchell, if Gavin came bulk up and look good at the weight then it's all good. Although nutrition is not my worry for Gavin at 147, more to do with his size and lack of power at 140.

He couldn't make lightweight for the Olympics, he's outgrown 140 now. How is he getting so big but we can't see it?

Size and power is the thing that comes to my mind, plus fitness he looked tired quite quickly in his last two fights.

In both Mutley and Woodhouse fights he didnt look good maybe it was just a blip but we will soon see i guess.

Fitness will be sorted as he paid out of his own pocket for a nutritionist. Tibbs has advised to stay at 147 and Gavin says he's not comfortable at 140 anymore. I think he was ill for the Mutley fight and he says he didn't respect Woodhouse enough and overlooked the fight.

I think something is going on that we don't know about. I can't see how he's increasing in weight so fast, he's 26 not 20.

I think he'll be OK at WW, he looked good against Lomax. But I don't think he'll ever reach his full potential at 147, unless he becomes some sort of physical powerhouse with the boxing skills he possess.

HE should be at LW! Seriously the guy looks flabby and slow and unfit at WW. He seemed to tire badly against Woodhouse and has no pop at the weight. I can't see him beating a top domestic WW like Kell Brook, or heck, even Matthew Hatton!!?

Gavin has great boxing skill, but as ever the worry is his dedication and discipline. At his age now, he should be entering his prime years. Something is wrong with this kid.
