one of my favs, he's had a great career. i remember being in like 5th grade when he fought hamed, will never forget that fight. i think it's really time to hang em up. one last one should be fun though.

A man isn't called the best because his fights are exciting. He's called the best because he beats the best and Barrera didn't.

Both he and Morales ducked Marquez for years and THAT IS A FACT! They still speak about it on television.They mentioned it on Faceoff: Pacquioa vs Marquez.

Giving exciting fights and beating the best ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

Barrera has choked nearly EVERY TIME he's attempted to beat the best aside from Morales.

I'm just not a hype whore who needs to lie and exaggerate to make my boxing experience more enjoyable. I appreciate boxing for what it is, not for what I'd like it to be. You should learn to do the same.

Barrera, Morales, Martinez, and a whole host of other boxers are hype jobs REGARDLESS as to how exciting you may find them. Fan consent and approval has NOTHING to do with how great or not great a boxer's career is in terms of accomplishment and quality.

Learn to be a real fan and not just a cheerleader. Just because a lot of people say something doesn't make it so. Just because a lot of people are ****** doesn't make it practical to be ******.

Remember that just because idiots who don't understand how boxing works chant the same bull**** that you do doesn't make it so.

Morales and Hamed are the two notables in Barrera's career. Go see how he faded against top competition. No matter how interesting Barrera made the fights, he still came up short.

No boxer gets hailed as great for losing, no matter how many top guys he loses to.

Khan broke the spirit of this Maricon. Barrera thought he was a bad ass when he did steroids and teamed up with the referee and cheated his way to "victory" over Naseem Hamed...but when he fought on neutral ground he got what he deserved and left his balls in Khans pocket.
