Bob Arum is a marketing genius.

He actually had a substantial portion of hardcore boxing fans fooled into believing that Margarito was anything more than a B-level fighter.

Margarito was step above being an ESPN FNF fighter with a title and we're supposed to believe it Mayweather's duty to drop everything he was doing because Bob Arum say's so. It's 2011, Bob Arum still hasn't paid Floyd all the money for his fights with Zab and Gatti. The killing part is, nobody knew Marg's name prior to this stunt, casual and hard-core fans alike.
