Canelo needs to step up and start fighting the big names, it's past due at this point. Throw him with someone like Cotto to test the waters and check what he's made of.

I don't like talking about fantasy match-ups, but I think the Cintron who fought Angulo would totally school and win every single round against Alvarez. Cintron kind of sucks now adays tho, he is way past his best in my opinion. Wouldn't even shock me if Alvarez could KO Cintron now.

No, he beat Antwone Smith in a competitive fight where his opponent didn't have much behind his punches. Before that he lost to Carlos Molina. Alvarez will stay away from opponents like Molina, because Molina isn't coming for just a check.

Cintron is shot. It's a **** fight, but whatever. Maybe someday Canelo will step it up. This is the last fight I'm giving him a pass though. He's young, but he has experience. He is a champ, and he should start fighting real fights.
