Then if you can compare the Floyd-Martinez MW scenario to the Pac-JMM situation.

Obviously they're the same size....The weight would be very similar to the first first 2 fights. So no way can one say that Pac is cherry picking JMM since fight night weight matters. The official weight means nothing.
Their mass " power" will be different at this weight than what it is when they weigh-in at 135 , even though they are the same weight on the night they will be structured very differently , if you look at the pics from JMM with a 135 weigh-in and compare them to the pics from when he fought Floyd and also when he now fights Pac , you will see the difference , yet the weight is the same ,,, thats 10 pages to explain why to you , but your eye will show you .

The other thing in this is they are Formula 1 athletes , and just like in F1 racing little things make a lot of difference , the playoff difference in this fight , JMM will be slower and for the added bulk he wont be stronger than Pac who will have more because of more mass , mass that wasnt their in the lower weight fights , Roach is be very scientific in this , he didnt just take 2 pound off Cotto , he took 2 pound of the wrong side and thats where it hurts , even though to the laymen , hey its only a couple of pounds ,,,, believe me it matters .

Do you mean on fight night or official weight? But, regardless if fight night weight matters the most. Then JMM has just as much as experience as Pac fighting in the 144 range. Size wise(fight night of course) there's not much difference between the two.

Martinez has much more experience than Floyd at MW....

Maybe I misread what your saying...Or just don't get the point.

I'm really am confused...Does the official weight not matter? I thought what the weight is when you in the ring is what matters. Why you mentioned rubbish. Fight night weight will be very similar to the 2nd fight. Which should make this fight legit.

But, I don't care about fight night weight really. To me the official is much more important. And, in that sense makes this fight crap.

              What?

As far I'm concerned that's the only weight that matters.
JMM comes into the ring at 145, Pacquiao at 148. So...

I'm trying really hard to follow your logic, but maybe I'm missing something.

It does to a certain degree, but so does the unofficial weight, Pacquiao is still the bigger guy here, not by a large margin but he's still the bigger guy. His base is also alot stronger which has helped him transition into the higher weights, he's also more athletic, Marquez could never make that transition because he doesn't have anything close to those attributes, of course you already know all this.

Props to floyd if he ever does that. I'd personally consider him greater than Manny should he choose that road.

                  that's a big IF though.

Pac has more experience fighting naturally bigger fighters, who weigh even more on fight night night than JMM. He also has better physical attributes like foot and hand speed that assist him in dealing with these naturally bigger fighters.

Why am I typing obvious ****?
