I hope this comes off, sounds like a great fight. At 1st thought I would favor Pirog but he is in fact totally untested against anywhere near that level of opposition so I guess this is where we see what he really has.

I have seen the interview and don't think that Pirog said exactly that. Seems to to promote a fight like this by boxingscene.com I think there is a lot of wishful thinking in here.

Anyway, if the fight with Gaele comes together, which I doubt, Pirog makes it an easy night of it. Gaele has no power whatsoever. Remember he won a SD against Sylvester who was tkoed easily yesterday night by Polish Proksa. Geale will never leave his Australian comfort zone to fight such a dangerous opponent to leave his title behind. He will defend his title forever in Down Under.

Imagine this fight would come off, Pirog would hold two titles and that's a statement. Afterwards there would be some eyebrows raised and a fight with Martinez truely could come off. Still it's only dreaming, that fight with Gaele is a fantasy of the author of this article.

Man that would be great. Golovkin will be free from Universum dispute soon so hopefully we'll get to see him in a quality fight around the same time too.

Not really because those titles are meaningless, if you trace the lineage you will find there is none that leads to the true MW title, it would be a statement for Pirog to knock of a top 10 MW though even if neither is really a champion.

awesome. The weightclass needs more of this. Not 10 contenders with lacking resumes.

The winner of this clash should be getting a fight for the strap.

if he didn't fight the winner of a fight like that, it WOULD be a duck.
