Boxing snobs hate Dana White for whatever personal reasons they may have, but what they cant deny is, If boxing were run the way the UFC were currently run, this sport would be in much better shape. Especially from a fans perspective. Boxing snobs complain that Dana underpays his fighters, yet when you have a guy like Pacquiao or Mayweather fighting only 1-2 times a year, or in Floyd's case, once every 2 years, you complain! Why?...because when you're giving a guy $40mil, he doesnt have to fight often. Good for the fighter, bad for the paying fans.

Boxing isn't the UFC. Boxing has a large amateur system, a pool of fighters 100 times bigger then MMA. Boxing ran like the UFc would be a train wreck.

Thats the exceptiion, not the rule, and last time I checked almost all big UFC fighters fight 2 maybe 3 times a year. Pac fights 2-3 times a year, Floyd does whatever he wants, and the rest of big boxing names fight 3-4 times a year.

He now has a multi year contract with Fox and is planning to show several FREE fights per year. Boxing fans can only dream of somthing like this. Dana is definitely doing something right!

They have a Major fight between 2 undefeated champions coming up for FREE on channel 5, whereas we here have to pay to see a fight like Bhop vs Dawson!

Bhop vs Dawson was because HBO had no money left. That woould never usually be on PPV.

Good for them, but no one besides hardcore MMA fans know those guys. It might help them gain some viewrs, who knows.
