Nishioka is a very close second, but you gotta give it to Vitali for dominating Adamek the way he did.

Nishioka will be in next month's poll.

I was tempted to put some people who fought yesterday in the poll, like Proksa and Nishioka. But it was October 1 yesterday, so they'll be in the next one.

Looking at the options, didn't realize we had such a boring month.

Vitali had the best win of his career in terms of quality opponent, and in dominant fashion, at freaking 40. However, Morales stole the show and gave us ANOTHER classic even when apparent his body is worn and he had a young, hungry guy in with him. And he stopped the kid after falling behind early, a reminder of why he is this generations finest warrior (that includes Gatti).

In the end, Morales's fight being something worth watching twice gives him the edge for me.
