    Why discredit the Martinez win?

First off, Darren Barker came to win. The kid had some skills, regardless of that he hadn't fought overseas, or whatever, he was a big middleweight with boxing skill.

Second, Barker was noticeably a bit bigger than Martinez. I can't imagine Sergio moving up to 168.

Third, why, whenever the HBO team says a fighter can't knock a bigger guy out, it happens?

Sergio is pretty much unstoppable right now, I'm not gonna say he "didn't train" like Harold Lederman, Barker was just a good fighter.

I disagree with Barker coming to win, but what he did do was fight smart choosing his shots and not opening up. Martinez did all he could against a guy who fought in a high guard all fight.

I thought he looked good under the circumstances. If Barker would have opened up he would have gotten stopped earlier... Although I do believe he quit in the 11th.
