    Cuban boxing is the best

Yesterday Pablo Hernandez won the cruiserweight belt. And not one of the best Cubans. Yuriorkis Gamboa and Lara Erislandy are doing a great race, and the top two still would not start.
If boxing in Cuba was profecional, would have a champion for divicion

did you see the fight? I thought Hernandez looked good the first couple rounds but then faded bad. And to go to the scorecard based on that cut was kind of meh.

Best at what? You have like 4-5 good fighters. When you make a bold statement excuses like size, population, or whatever else you can come up with doesn't hold water. Good for Cuba being a top 10 boxing nation and all but they aren't even near nations like America, Mexico, England, or Germany. I'm not even sure they can compete with Puerto Rico or Argentina atm.

No because it's still an excuse. How do you know the fighters would succeed? Yes, a few have done well but which ones are beating top fighters? Gamboa has looked like crap in a lot of fights(few years ago), Solis is a tub a lard, Lara looked good in his last fight but he wasn't exactly setting the world on fire before the Williams fight and who is to say Williams isn't done(think most would say so)? We have to wait and see if this crop of Cubans even make a real dent in the sport and even if they do I certainly wouldn't just assume the others would do well and even if they do how is Cuba better than the US, Mexico, and England? Good boxing nation but lets keep it in perspective.

An excuse is valid if it's true. It's more of an explanation than an excuse really.

Cubans dominate amateur boxing. While there are differences between the two sports, looking at history, olympic champs tend to do pretty well also in the pros.
