I was quite surprised when I read the result of this fight. Sylvester isnt amazing, but he is definitely a solid contender, and nobody dealt with him in such quick dominant fashion as Proksa did.

this was an impressive performance, although his style seems like it would be risky against a more offensive fighter.

I definitely will keep my eye out for Proksa in the future, and look forward to seeing him in future fights.

I also only first heard of him today and checked some of his older fights and training videos and this kid has tremendous talent. He is going to be a future absolute star in Poland.

Very fan friendly style, but he needs to work on a jab and maybe tighter defense. One day you will face someone faster than you...

Nice lead left I think it was. Decent power and speed. Decent reflxes.

He just needs a better defense though, because Sylvester is slow but one day a faster guy will hit him.

I knew about Proska from his fight in Spain with Navascues. The referee was shady and trying to help the home fighter Navascues, but to no avail. Nice KO here:

Dwyer compares Proksa to a young Roy Jones. He says Proksa does everything technically wrong, but gets away with it because he's so talented and athletic.

TBH Roy Jones is on another level to him but similar styles in some ways.

However you need to face faster, harder hitting guys to see.

some of these Euro fighters are very talented. The downside is they have difficult names to remember. Which will hurt they're popularity here in the states.

                  Dzinziruk,Grzegorz Proksa, Senchenko,Stieglitz etc

great performance by proksa, deff would like to see more of him. hopefully he gets a crack at some more top middleweights and not just stay in europe fighting undermatched opposition. great head movement and pop to his shots, kid's got tremendous potential. him and pirog have very unique styles for europeans...i dig it.
