    lol @ Bruce being better

the guy sounds like an overworked, coffee-fueled high school Math teacher getting kids ready for a test.

that line is is legendary in boxing
it's like Mills' "let's get it on" line
something about it gets the adrenaline going to start a fight
it was weak that time he upped himself though
forget which fight Buffer did that in
he said "it's time for the most famous line in boxing"
that was ******, but other than that, it's great
        best announcer out there

Michael Buffer > Jimmy Lennon, Jr. > Bruce Buffer

Bruce sounds like he's taking a massive shit and he moves around like a spastic while screaming. On top of that, his diction sucks. He's not announcing, he's just screaming.

And "it's time" is such a lame line. When Mike announces, "Let's get ready to rumble," you know something special might be coming up. The thing that raises Michael Buffer into legendary status is when he starts trilling those R's and L's.

No. It adds to the authenticity of a fight. Could you imagine if Mayweather fought Pacquiao and all they said was ''Box''.

dont you see he only has a job because his brother is a famous boxing announcer? and there was no place for him in boxing so they shooed him off to the inferior sport for them to try to lift their cred somehow? duh
