I think if Haye ever gets in the ring with Vitali, it's going to be a quick night. I can see Vitali just jumping all over Haye and landing big bombs coming from strange angles- just one after another against a Haye who is huddled against the ropes.

Vitali will destroy Haye. KO by 3.

And keep in mind that the loss to Buster Douglas cannot be used because that wasn't part of the 85-89 era, but in 1990 when he was over the hill.
Yeah, but you know that the Tyson that fought Douglass didn't even train for the fight. The Tyson that fought Douglass was nowhere near the beast that Cus trained. We're not even going to talk about what Robin Givins did to him leading up to the fight. She made the man attempt suicide.

        Hence why 1990 doesn't count.

        That's the spirit.

Size? And? This has got to be one of the greatest aspects. They're BORN with this attribute, this cannot be tought. THis is the difference between humanbeings, the look, size and strength of our bodies, and our athletesism!

          So quit whining about that.

That's not true. Tyson did train for the Buster fight and was just in physical top shape as he had previously been. If you are going to argue with his mental shape, that process had started a lot earlier.

Vitali can fight....he knows how to throw punches, control distance, counter...man big Vit can do it all....BUT, his size IS a factor in the ring...to say that its not is crazy....not saying its the biggest or only factor because big dudes like Valuev aint ****...excuse me french, but dude is GARBAGE....and his height size is the ONLY reason he became a champion...that big dude is a bum...no sugarcoating on Tuesdays ....but Wlad and Vit can box, they know how to operate in there....they're not Doctors for nothing lol.....at the end of the day, their size makes fight they would win regardless based off skill and will alone....but the size difference makes that work become REAL EASY....thats how I see it!!

Adamek is a warrior.....the truth!!!!....dude would never make an excuse for himself....but deep down he knows Vitali was too dam big!!

The entire conversation is moot, Vitali and Wlad wouldn't fight the same way if they were 6, 2 heavyweights.

The size helps but they're great boxers as well. And Vitali in particular has the added bonus of being tough, both mentality and physically. Michael Grant was probably one of the finest physical specimens ever seen in the division, but he didn't have it mentally, nor did he have the skills either.

Useless argument, as that would make them completely different fighters with different strategies, different fighting styles. It's like saying "What if Tyson had no power in his fists".
