I dont like when people trash Golota. The guy moved the United States, to Chicago in the late 80's. He was an orphan from Warsaw. What do you think happened to his parents? Probably killed and burined in some anonymous grave out in the forest or sent to some siberian death camp or something by the post war *** soviet installed regime in Poland.

He probably only began fighting when some comisssar came to his orphanage in Warsaw and thought "you would be good as a fighter." Made him fight against his will, they probabably treated and raised him like a dog.

He got out of there to the United States in the late 80's despite his Olympic bronze medal all he wanted was to be a truckdriver. He didn't want to box but he couldn't get a job. He decided to take up boxing as a means of making enough money to buy a truck. It ended that he became overly involved in the sport and prominent figuere in the sport so he boxed.

He fought for the heavyweight championship of the world against Rid**** Bowe. He beat the life of out of him. He threw the low blows at the end of the fight probably because he didnt' want to win. Because he hated boxing. Because as a fighter he felt like a dog, a mentality he derived from his upbringing as an exploited orphan in Poland.

He eventually became ****** into the sport. He may have been teh best fighter in the world in the mid 90's only to be poisoned in the biggest fight of his career against Lennox Lewis. A fight in which is was favored by most to win. After that Golota just said f**k the world, f**K everything I dont care anymore. Since then the guy is f**Ked around something awefull in his fighting career by the press promoters etc...

This man should have been heavyweight champion of the world, and a dominant one at that.
