Comments Thread For: Roman Martinez: A Few More Fights Before Brandon Rios

The former super featherweight champion of the WBO, Roman "Rocky" Martinez (28-0-1, 21KOs), who returns after a year-long layoff on Saturday night in Puerto Rico, doesn't expect to face WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios on December 3rd, as part of the Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito undercard. Martinez has no problem making 130-pounds. He would require a few fights at 135 to get adjusted to the weight, then take a fight with Rios.

Rocky vs Luis Cruz then the winner should face Rios. I think that would be an amazing way to go about it. I slightly favor Rios over the two of them but I think with the power that all three possess would make for an amazing event.
