LLS just watched Skysports Kirkland vs Ishida and the commentator saying Joe COrtez is not Ricky Hatton's favorite referee!!!

I think I am going to have to go with Angulo on this one

More fights are won in the weeks leading up to the fight during training camp then the fight itself.

They are both complete nightmares for each other. Angulo isn't the best defensive fighter by any means. Neither is Kirkland.

I think Kirkland will be better preprared for this fight. I think it will be a war, but I see Kirkland winning. TBH, I wouldn't put money on either fighter.

This is the fight James been wanting now he gets it. This would be fight of the year but i dont see Angulo making it past the 9th. Kirkland gets Comeback FOY.

Cant wait till November to see this.

Kirkland is wide open to eat right crosses from an orthodox opponent who has decent timing and keeps them tight, but shockingly, if it's even possible... He's even moore vulnerable to short left hooks.

He's been leaving that chin out to dry since he started boxing, I'm amazed he got as far as Ishida without it getting checked. Watching him verse Brian Vera, he was literally waving it at Vera. He hasn't had to adapt because he's always been physically stronger and generally larger than his opponents. None of this will be the case against Angulo who is roughly the same size in terms of height and reach as well as being a world class albeit limited to what he's good at fighter. Fortunately, what he's good at is perfect for what Kirkland brings to the table.

Also, Kirkland hasn't gone more than 2 consecutive rounds since March of 2009(He's only gone 10 rounds once).. AND he's fighting in Angulo's home country of Mexico. Talk about a stacked deck. With that said, your opinion is your opinion. I don't generally bet e points b/c I'm lazy, but if you'd like to bet like 10 million or w/e I'm all for it.

The main ch**k in Perro's armor in this matchup would be the excessive scar tissue above Angulo's right eye. However, IMO Kirlkand throws his left cross from too far away for it to land with any authority and exploit it. Kirkland will be jabbing with his right, so that won't open the cut either. If a headbutt opens it and it goes to the cards, it's all but certain Angulo will be up fighting in Mexico..

Anything is possible in boxing, so I'll be really shocked if Kirkland finds a way to win this.
