I don't think Antwone Smith is with Top Rank, is he? But, yea that would have actually been a solid fight.
Maybe too risky though? Since Smith doesn't have name value but still not a total scrub...While Casamayor has name value but shot to pieces...
I never even thought about a Bradley-Smith match up...That could have been interesting.
Look some of the hate that Bradley gets is from the Khan crew and I think deservedly so...The rest of the hate that Bradley gets, has absolutely nothing to do with Bradley... It has to do with ****** ass Floyd fans vs Pac fans crap...Where they try to diminish the other guy future opponent.
I still have my doubts that Pac will even fight Bradley next...But, if he does, this would be a great 2012 start for Pac. He will fight a legit threat IMO. A dude that's on top of his game and very versatile. I wouldn't say it's a walk in the park for Pac. For sure his toughest test since Cotto...However, I wouldn't be shocked if Pac fought the winner of Marg-Cotto II next.
I mean given the weight of the Marquez vs Pac fight I somewhat agree with you. But I will tell you one thing, Marquez vs Pac below 140 Marquez has a better shot at beating Pac than Bradley does at 147. I mean we're talking about a guy who some think has beaten Pac twice, and another guy whose best career win is who? Devon Alexander? At least Marquez has been in the ring with Pac for 24 rounds and knows him, that level of step up in competition for Bradley would be unreal.Comment

Bradley has only fought ONCE as a jww in the last two years. And it was against a crappy fighter in Alexander, a guy who got so scared of the division, that he ran off.
And now he's fighting a 40 year old Casamayor? Ugly head butting midget should be ashamed of himself.Comment

It's not below 140, though, that can't just be ignored.I mean given the weight of the Marquez vs Pac fight I somewhat agree with you. And Alexander is not Bradley's best win, not even close. Witter, Holt, and Peterson are all better wins.Comment

Witter and holt, were washed up, past prime.
And who cares about head butt monkeys resume, he doesn't fight good opponents anymore.
40 year old Casamayor? Bradley is a coward and a fraud, he is a disgrace to boxing.Comment

Wouldn't you at least like to see Bradley against Ortiz or Berto at WW before he gets in there with Pac? I mean the guy has had one fight at WW hahaComment

it will happen but these ppl are clever and they know the longer a massive fight like this brews the more cash will flood in when it dose, every fan on the planet is now gagging for this fight, its all part of the game.its not the bradley hate, its how top rank works, bob arum has no intention of ever making the fight with mayweather... its the same pattern...
-the first time bob arum said they were trying to make the mayweather fight, margarito was already going aorund saying he was promised the pacquiao fight (fact)
-the second time, mosley was already going around saying he was going to fight pacquiao
-the third time, one week before the mosley fight, marquez is offered the next pacquiao fight
-and now, everyone knows bradley is next...
same song and dance....
If it dont happen Arums got his ace up his sleeve by signing Bradley cos this lads going to be massive in time and Pac aint gona be around much longer so soon he wont care if he gets beaten especialy if his next big star dose the beating.Comment

LEGIT threat, jro? Get real. Bradley isn't a threat to Floyd or pac. He does nothing to trouble themI don't think Antwone Smith is with Top Rank, is he? But, yea that would have actually been a solid fight.

Arum is building too many folks at once. From Bradley to Alvarado to Benavidez to Gesta to good old Chavez Jr. He isnt risking anyones 0, believe that.
Arum is a 0 hugger, thats how he builds his brands. He sells his guys as unbeatable and gets them the matches that make them look that way. Once he finds out which fighters sell best to the general public, that fighter becomes the squeeky wheel that gets the grease that keeps the Top Rank train moving along.
Can you even remember the last time Top Rank pit two of their undefeated fighters against each other? Must have killed him inside to even have Marg fight Cotto.Comment
