Should have been a first ballot Hall of Famer. He is the reason boxers under 147lbs have finally got the recognition they deserve. Excitement n Power where his strong points and defense and dedication where his downfall.

good for the sport put many asses on the seats. big attraction. but he does have the best fans in the world and im not talking about the arabs im talking about the UK fans. anyone athlete who has the support of the UK fans is lucky.

Yes, I agree. Not only that but he expanded his fanbase from the UK to the US. People say Americans hate Clazaghe because he showboated alot but the guy has no charisma, while Hamed is a legend. He was entertaining every second and just like Hatton brought alot of attention to the sport.

I don't know about first ballot because he doesn't have that many huge names on his resume, but he should get in now. He didn't get in last year because of Chavez, Tyson and Tszyu. I hope he does. One loss in his entire career is not bad. Yes I agree his dedication wasn't what it could be, but boy while he was at the top he entertained and he feared no man.
