I would go with Ward. If it was a close fight and it came down to the last few rounds Ward seems like he has the focus and hunger to pull it out.

Ward on activity alone. Dawson won't beat a fighter that matches his speed & isn't afraid to take the lead. Dawson spread his legs too far apart, limiting his mobility & bends far too low for a pro fighter. Pus Ward is much better conditioned.
