Martinez - You do not need to fight smaller fighters.. You are good naturally a MW. calling smaller fighters makes you look weak. Mayrunner will avoid you as you carry heavy hands that have KO'd natural MW's. so forget it! Pacman will fight you but not sure the fans would consider it a fair fight, pacman isn't a natural WW much less a MW. How about Sturm, Cintron, Angulo, even Mosley(who truly deserves as a$$ whopping for running like a chicken against Pacman)??? Put those under your belt.

Serge's fighting Pac's not feasible......

there are...too many loop holes for both fighters, specially for Pac. Former Featherweight Champ against the former MW Champ doesn't add up. If this fight materialize, then there is a major problem with boxing world!

Pacquiao better fight someone with a pulse next year.

I consider:

A soft fight to start the year as always.

Timothy Bradley - easy fight easy payday.

Then a hard fight to end the year as always.

Sergio Martinez - legendary status fight for Pacquiao.

Martinez is just looking for a big payday cause his career took off late. He is targeting FLoyd and Manny because thats the biggest payday. He should worry about cleaning out his division and become a true champion, he had 2 good fights against an overrated Paul Williams and he beat the ghost of Kelly "the ghost" Pavlik. He is like Amir Khan their beating bums and they want to be the P4P king.

Floyd knows it's not realistic to fight Martinez, not necessarily impossible, so of course he might say something like that. He also says Pacquiao is next after the Ortiz fight. Go figure.

I like Martinez, but honestly he why is he fishing for fighters down south.. Create your own legacy and move up in weight.. He has the height and reach to battle with the big boys.. Dont take other fighters fame and capitalize on trying to beat them...
