Martinez - You do not need to fight smaller fighters.. You are good naturally a MW. calling smaller fighters makes you look weak. Mayrunner will avoid you as you carry heavy hands that have KO'd natural MW's. so forget it! Pacman will fight you but not sure the fans would consider it a fair fight, pacman isn't a natural WW much less a MW. How about Sturm, Cintron, Angulo, even Mosley(who truly deserves as a$$ whopping for running like a chicken against Pacman)??? Put those under your belt.

Says who? If you read this article you would know that he said his body is not built for 168 and all the guys at Middleweight and 154 he wants to fight don't want to fight him. I would suggest that he fights Pirog because Pirog seems to be the only guy who really wants to fight Sergio Martinez so there is no reason for him not to fight him considering he's fighting Barker.

Why does Martinez give Floyd so much credit? This is the thing that annoys me about him. Any time Floyd or Pac is mentioned, Sergio will say, I want them both, Floyd will fight me, Pacquiao will not. When have you ever heard Floyd say he will fight Martinez? Floyd is the biggest cherry-picker of opponents out there. There's more chance of Brandon Rios signing on to fight Martinez than there is of Floyd doing so. The only fight Floyd's had above welterweight is with a 34 year old De La Hoya, and that was closer than it should have been. Not in a million years is he gonna fight a beast like Sergio Martinez. Not on your life. Pacquiao would be more likely to fight him. I think Martinez might believe stroking Floyd's ego will gain him a shot at the Pretty Boy. It doesn't, and it won't. But Martinez's attitude perplexes me. And he acts like Pacquiao is ducking him. Jesus, Martinez is a middleweight! Pacquiao at this moment in time is a 140 lb'er who bulks up to fight in the welterweight division. For the past couple of years now, according to Ariza, is ideal fighting weight is 140, but he takes the challenges of welterweight on....and yet Martinez criticizes him because he won't again jump up in weight?

Oh, and for the record, if Martinez boils his body down to 150 pounds to fight Pacquiao or Floyd, he will be a shell of his self and get pumelled, particularly if he were to fight someone as busy, quick and destructive as Pacquiao.

Ive heard Floyd say Sergio was a possibility , havent heard a thing from Pac , even at 150 Pac will never fight Sergio , Pac stays away from boxers with skills , and big guys with skills are a big no no for Manny .

If you look closely at Pacs WW resume which happens to be his claim to fame , who he fights , take into account exactly when he fights them and the differences between who he CWs and who he dont , *** me you got the biggest cherry picker in the history of boxing only he does sly by setting the rules up to handicap his opponents based on there ability and whats left in there tank , it makes me laugh how ignorant people are to the CWs and what they really mean .

I like what your saying , Ive thought Sergio has got a lot of mileage out of Williams and I was never really sold on Paul , I think SM is too big with too many skills for Pac but Floyd in a boxing match , hmmm its hard to see May losing to another skill type fighter , maybe thats the next big fight I hope not I want Floyd Pac next .

Timothy Bradley - easy fight easy payday.

Then a hard fight to end the year as always.

Sergio Martinez - legendary status fight for Pacquiao.

best scenario for me is if we can get Mayweather in there somewehere in the middle of bradley and sergio ... I would be one very happy fan!

He knocked Cintron out homie. If you want to try to dissect his opponents then you have to do that for Floyd's and Pac's as well. Pavlik got beat by Bhop who was a bigger fighter than Pavlik and on top of that it was Bhop who is a great fighter in his own right. Pavlik beat Taylor at the top of his game AND Pavlik was KO'n fighters his size but Martinez got off the floor and whupped the bigger Pavlik out. Come on fam. Sergio is a solid fighter. He is the only one I could see possibly beating Floyd honestly. The fight to me is 50/50 but that's just my opinion. Williams was winning before Martinez. Paul Williams was the one who wanted the catchweight to get an advantage over Martinez, so in actuality it was in favor of Paul.

Martinez is up there and the top 3 are debatable in the p4p rankingsSergio doesnt stand to get much credit however he wins vs Barker becuase he is unknown but I'd venture to suggest that Barker brings more ambition to this fight than any recent Pac opponent. Barkers unbeaten and will be at his best for this one. Mosley hadnt won in years and only anted to survive and touch gloves. Ortiz was a Maidana leftover so the competion isnt as high as it should be when these guys cherry pick. Throw Cotto, Pac, Floyd, Martinez all into the mix and I think the last man standing would be Martinez.
