Why not feed Gesta to Lundy or Molina instead? They would devour his azz.

Gesta showed a lot of restraint and skills in the fight against Perez. Many people pegged Perez in winning since he looked more as the aggressor but if you look at it closely Gesta shot more of the meaningful and accurate punches in the match.

Gesta looked like he was practicing defense and fighting outside. He needs that to fight Rios since Rios is good at inside fighting and has strength to match too. You don't want to fight a guy head to head unless you are Antillon and believed in your power as well. And we know what happened to Rios vs Antillon fight. Also, he needs to put more rounds in. Miguel Acosta took Brandon Rios to 10 Rounds of boxing but suffered defeat when those punches accumulated.

Gesta cannot gas out and wither away in 12 Rounds of boxing against power hitters and boxers with good chins. Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, and Manny Pacquiao all outworked and outlasted their bigger, stronger, and faster opponents to become great fighters.

Gesta needs to do that against strong opponents.

Not sure how he practiced defense by getting picked off with right hands. He has a Paul Williams type deficiency

some guys just will never be able to overcome their weakness, much like PW, no matter what you do, he will always eat up left hands the same way Gesta eats up right

this kid is really hyped, so far not looking championship material

Gesta does need to get away from Para, Para isn't the right trainer for him. Para isn't a teacher - Gesta should've just stayed at Wild Card and let Roach take him in. Screw Para...he's not a teacher.
