A real boxing fan:
Respects courage in a fighter. He does not respect so-called "fighters" that duck the real fighters.
Respects ethical fighting not head butting and sucker punching.
Respects fighters that actually fight, like Armstrong and Duran. These guys fought and fought instead of looking to do the minimum fighting (via long and extended vacations) in order to maximize profits - yet undeservedly demand "respect" and "legacy."
Respects fighters that are gentlemen in and out of the ring.
Respects "showman" fighters who actually have great communications skills (like Ali and Leonard) as opposed to stuttering.
Respects fighters that uphold ethics and good morals instead of breaking the law, destroying government property (like the hundred dollar bill), and gives openly to charity without demanding that he be respected for it.
Any person who does not have all of the above qualities is not a real boxing fan. Thank you for reading.
