On Wednesday night, Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing presented a black-tie dinner-show benefit at the Hilton Hotel in New York City in support of the F.I.S.T. organization. In the main event, heavyweight Robert Hawkins (21-4, 7 KOs) won a ten round snoozer over Robert Wiggins (20-6-1, 12 KOs). Scores were 98-91 on all cards. In his New York debut, undefeated heavyweight Malachy Farrell moved to 12-0 with 9 KOs after a routine four round win over 4-9 Barry Lineberger. In the best fight of the night, debuting Melissa Hernandez won an all-action majority nod against Mau Mau Zhang, 40-36, 40-36, 38-38.
