cintron is shot, this is the only reason that golden b!tch is even considering this fight. Another easy victory for the mexi**** ginger, when is this guy gonna man up and fight real competition I think it's safe to say that he is a paper champion.

well if he beats cintron and jcc jr. he does deserve some credit. if he loses ,he loses the paper title along with the loss anyway. JOSE SULAIMAN TO THE RESCUE!!

IMO canelo is a fraud that is hiding behind GBP and televisa, Cintron is done as a pro boxer and just get a day job or go MMA, after all he was a wrestler and Lara will tap that canelo's a$$ 100 times out 100, and if he face molina again it will b an ugly beating for Carlos, as it is right now Lara is the man to beat at 154.

Golden Boy Promotions has all but closed the deal for a bout between 21-year-old WBC junior middleweight beltholder Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and 31-year-old former two-time welterweight beltholder Kermit Cintron in an HBO slot on Nov. 26, according to the source familiar with the negotiations.

No site has been settled upon for the matchup between Alvarez (38-0-1, 28 KOs) and Cintron (33-4-1, 28 KOs), although it is a "Definite for somewhere in Mexico and it should be signed today," according to the source.

Alvarez is coming off last month's sixth-round knockout of Alfonso Gomez (23-5-1, 12 KOs).

A former two-time welterweight beltholder, Cintron has battled to a disputed draw with southpaw RING middleweight titleholder Sergio Martinez (48-2-2, 27 KOs), been stopped twice by ex-beltholder Antonio Margarito (38-7, 27 KOs) and lost a controversial decision to southpaw former three-time beltholder Paul Williams (39-2, 27 KOs).

The hard-hitting Cintron is coming off of 10-round unanimous decision over Antwone Smith (20-3-1, 12 KOs) in August that helped him to rebound from a 10-round unanimous decision loss to Carlos Molina (19-4-2, 6 KOs) in July.

not sure why people are hating, Alvarez is 21 years old, they are building him slowly, not sure if i know a 21 year old that fought world class opposition straight away, Cintron is a good test, we'll see how is chin is as well.
