You are delusional, is not because they don't care, is because they are afraid to lose against an "amateur", even a guy like Rigondeaux with only 8 fights has being pay step aside money so Ramos could fight for the belt, and now he is *****ing that he is not getting pay enough, is about the skills that they possessed and the A$$ whooping that comes along, I can mention another less known Cuban that will kick Canelo's a$$, Yudel Jhonson, the guy is a product of GBP and the Mexican media, a white good looking kid with decent skills, we have c this movie before and it will not be the last time either, different actors same old script, el Rojo is a prospect that's all he is until he start beating the best, they did the same thing with Vargas and Reid but a least those guys fought a much better competition.Comment

HBO should have done the right thing and offered Lara a slot against someone....anyone. That's what they should do in cases of blatant robberies - reward the true winner.
But they're probably tapped out of cash for the year anyway, so sucks for Lara.
I don't think he should wait till 2012 though. Just a fight a bum, any bum, just to stay active and keep your name in people's minds. Even if they don't see it, as long as they read "Lara wins by KO" or whatever.Last edited by ИATAS; 09-29-2011, 04:48 PM.Comment

You like pushing buttons, don't you?
Nobody cares about Cuban boxers, huh? After a 50+ year hiatus from professional boxing, newly-pro Cubans are getting media attention that is normally reserved for more experienced professionals. Comprehend this: there are 1.5 million Cubans in the United States (Cubans on the island, sadly, have no voice). The support Cuban boxers are receiving is coming from everyone else but their own. So, I ask you, if the Cuban population in the U. S. doesn't support their boxers, and "nobody cares about Cuban fighters", who is putting these guys on TV and pushing their professional careers? Quite a few people care...except you, of course. You only care about Mexican fighters....
And as for the "boring" comment: Yuriorkis Gamboa is, without a doubt, one of the most *electrifying* fighters in the game today. As good as your boy Mikey Garcia may be, he's nowhere near as exciting as Gamboa. Mikey is quite effective, but he fights in the same ol' textbook style as 90% of his predecessors. If Yuri were Mexican, you'd be making post after post about how amazing he is. As for me, I just want the guy to do well. I don't depend on the success of others to feel successful myself....Comment

Listen people, Angulo is not afraid. He would chase that monkey through the whole fight. And regarding cicintron, Angulo was sick that day, still chased Cicintron all night, was hugged all night, and chased him the whole night. Angulo´s face was clean, despite Cicintron having power. Cicintron was almost getting Koed, his legs saved him.Comment
