"Pacquiao, you're next" - the ultimate Mayweather irony

I'll post it again as I did in other related articles: Here's my take; I don't really hate FMJ because from the looks of it, his strategy actually includes controversies like the last one, to project himself the Dark Force of boxing. One can easily perceive that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a marketing genius and crafty businessman. All his trash-talking and posturing to make it appear he would fight the Pacman are just marketing hypes. Every boxing pundit knows that the Pacmonster will just walk through Floydie's potshots to sneak in his own staccato of detonating combinations. More than anybody else, Floydie knows extremely well that the Pacmonster can take his best shots while he could never hold up with the return fires. In this regard, it is very obvious that we are up to vicious plots of seeing Floydie take opponents after opponents and sell them like hotcakes with his magnificent "Pacquiao your next!" hypes in order to dupe and bleed the fans of their precious dollars. But clearly, fighting Pacquiao squarely atop the ring is the farthest thing in his sly mind. Thus, the DREAM-FIGHT which everybody wants to see is bound to remain a dream forever. On the same breadth, it is likewise bound to usher Floyd "KFC" Mayweather Jr. to the realm of greatness being the "Greatest Salesman in the World!" And this is for selling DREAM by millions of dollars! I rest my case, LOL!Comment

Yeah that was a fairly embarrassing episode for Pacquiao. I suspect he was given really bad advice, likely by that greaseball Koncz, to say those still excuses.
He should have just said, "Mayweather does not dictate my obligations, that is the job of the boxing commissions." And that is a position most people can respect.Comment

After Floyd`s horrendous stint with Ortiz (and the fact that Floyd did not really beat Ortiz), I don`t think that Pacquiao nor Arum will make any effort to contact him for a mega fight.
Floyd is just not worth it.
It is time for Manny Pacquiao to retire after his Marquez fight and make make Floyd and his family irrelevant.
Floyd just said he doesn`t need Manny.
And Manny just said he doesn`t need Floyd either. But the funny thing is, Manny keeps his word. And you can just imagine who you can trust between the two.
So, Floyd, who`s next again??? A simple direct statement you made and you made an entire audience liars instead of yourself?Comment

floyd is a protected species by hbo, otherwise hbo will have the balls to demand the pacquiao fight or else.Comment

Come on, De La Hoya isn't going to come out of retirement. If he did who would want to see him fight Floyd. He only lost to Floyd because he didn't have the stamina in the late rounds and that was years ago. Since then he's been doing coke and drag.Comment

haha Pac and his team have made far more money off of Mayweather's name than Mayweather could ever make off of Pac's.
The thing that shocks me about some of these Pac fans is how they literally turn there head to everything Bob Arum does. I like Pac I really do, but it truly shocks me how Pac fans ignore the absurdity of Bob Arum. For example, it's pretty clear at this point that Tim Bradley is going to be next for Pac, and it is very likely that fight will be announced either before or directly after the Marquez fight before a Mayweather fight can even be discussed. yet somehow it is going to end up being Mayweather's fault even though pac's fights are already pre determined before he even fights the guy he's scheduled to fight. it really is hilarious at this point, and I can't fathum how fans don't see it.Comment
