Mayweather or Pacquiao - whos got the better chin ?

Ok let me see...Marg was known as the guy with the best chin right?...right!! Shane KO'd Marg right?...right!! Shane lands two bombs on Floyd and didn't even put him down right?...right!! How can u question a guy who doesn't go down when caught by good shots?! It doesn't matter what the guys name is, a good shot is a good shot.

Those same two shots KO's Pac and 99.9% of every other ww. It's very easy to point out how calm, cool and collected Floyd stayed when hit with serious adversity but of course HATERS won't point that out, they would rather talk make up **** to down play Floyd...Smdh!!!

Let's just say Pac has the better chin...but only bcuz he gets hit a lot more!!

Mosley hit Mayweather with only 1-2 clean power punches and he was hurt with the very first one.

Mosley hit Margarito clean 25 times with 49% of his power punches and took 9 rounds to finally wear him down.

It's difficult to say, as there isn't a lot of evidence to base an analysis of Mayweather's chin on. He very rarely gets hit clean. Mosley, a good puncher, hurt him with a clean shot, although Mayweather wasn't too badly hurt and his head was clear for the next round. Ortiz landed a couple of decent shots, but nothing that seriously troubled him.

Pacquiao's chin has always been decent and it seems to have gotten even better since moving up in weight. He's been hit fairly regularly by guys like Cotto, Margarito and Clottey - not murderous punchers, but he's stood up well to all those shots. There's a slight question mark over his susceptibility to body shots however, having been momentarily hurt at one stage against Margarito and badly hurt by a body shot in his last fight against Marquez, which took him an entire round to recover from.

All in all, Pacquiao's chin may be a bit more sturdy, based on the recent shots he's been able to withstand. Again, it's hard to say with any certainty.

You'd be better off comparing common opponents, fought at similar stages of their careers. The Shane that wobbled Floyd didn't knock Manny out or come anywhere close to doing so.

And when Floyd grows a pair and decides to fight Pacquiao Floyd wouldn't know what to do when he sees punches hit him floyd hasn't fought anyone with Pacquiao's speed.
