Comments Thread For: Mariusz Wach-Oliver McCall in Play For November 5?

According to some of the recent discussions, 46-year-old former WBC world champion and Lennox Lewis' sensational conqueror, Oliver McCall (55-11, 37 KOs), who for many years successfully defeated much younger opponents, is possibly going to face the 32-year-old "Polish Giant" Mariusz Wach ( 25-0, 13 KOs) on November 5th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

    Decent test for Wach.

McCall is old as Mathusaleh, but he's still very durable.

Durable, yes. Also fat and slow as walking in cement...if he can't get Ollie out he's not much w/all his hype...

McCall will win if it's a 10 round fight.

I bet Wach only fights him if it's 8 rounds or less.

first of all mccall has never been knocked down in his career & secondly he has dropped 30 lbs since the boswell fight where he was 260.he has fought tougher competition then any other contender & he's 46...boswell, oquendo, lawrence, whitaker, timur ibragimov & damien wills the last 2 years...other then helenius there isn't a heavyweight contender who has fought better competition then oliver mccall the last few years.wach better be careful or he could be on his back...
