Imagine if the **** industry said....."since we dont have the funds to test ****stars for HIV/STD's all year round, lets just test them 2 weeks before a **** shoot, although it takes 6 months for certain STD's and HIV to appear in your system"

This would be the Floyd version of **** testing! LOL

Fact of the matter is, if you're going to do it, do it right and let it be passed down by the boxing commisions for ALL fighters. Having 1 fighter dictate how he wants his opponents to be tested is rediculous!

All boxers should be on a year round testing program, doesn't mean they get tested every day but means they can be tested at any time thoughout the year.

And then you have to have incompetion testing, which should not be testing up to the day of the fight.

And Floyd will be much more likely to object to this.

All Floyd testing demands have just been for publicity and propaganda.

I agree with some of what you say.I believe Floyd thinks Manny is doping however.If your family and friends,fellow fighters,etc are all in your ear saying "this guy is on drugs" and "if I was you,I would have him take the test", then I would be su****ious as well.Especially if your opponent shows rigidity towards the testing as he did in the 1st negotiations.

In an ideal world, testing would be randomly and year round.USADA's 2 month randomized testing still has a better intent than most of boxing's commissions however.

Have Floyd's demands been purely for publicity-I doubt it.He has been consistent with wanting Manny to take the test to the point that he has had his last 2 opponents take these tests.Sure,it could be so it doesn't look like he is singling anyone out,but more than anything I think he truly believes Manny is doping and wants him to at least take the 2 month randomized testing before they fight.From Manny's perspective,2 months has got to be better than getting blood drawn randomly all year round don't you think?

boxing must be a clean sport (no peds)... but sucker punch and elbows are allowed because it is a technique and is legal....

The sport of boxing will never be "clean" nor will any other sport testing for anything is lagging prob 6 to 8 yrs behind any new PEDs. Allow steroids and clean the sport by having ONE organization world wide that oversees everything. That would mean refs, belts ect. under one sole commision. Fighters would have to face one another in order to be champs no ducking ect. Clean up the sport by minimizing weight classes.

Better yet,If Manny just puts the pen to paper for 2 months drug testing,then win,lose or draw (and I do believe Manny loses this fight if it happens),he has reinvigorated my respect.Until then,his blatant excuses and refusal has cast a bit of a shadow over him,and not just by me,but a lot of fans STILL wonder why he refused and it has taken him nearly 2 years to supposedly "agree".

It is not useless dip****.Example-are you likely to dope up if you know you are being watched by an authority????? The answer is a simple NO.You forget that these tests are designed to attempt to catch a cheat,OR detour someone from cheating.

WADA would not declare randomized testing a failure.In fact,there is no rule against it.It would still be a far better system than what the current commissions have in place at this moment!
