I will love to see Mayorga beat De La Hoya, but I think Oscar will run like a bunny like his buddy Bitchkins to win by a UD. I think Mayorga VS. Margarito is the fight I want to see.

You are all wrong...Mayorga will beat DLH...then DLH will sign Mayorga to his stable (GBP)...then Mayorga will fight the winnner of Vargas-Mosley...while DLH will fight the loser of that fight...all the fights will be PPV, so essentially we will be paying for their retirements! HYAYYYY!! I'm down for that! LMAO! UFC is more fun to watch.

        De La Hoya will win

DLH will win this fight easy, that's why he's taking it. He'll have an easier time with El Matador than Tito or Cory did. DLH is a master boxer especially at 147. Mayorga will come to get paid and Oscar will expose every single technical flaw Ricardo has, tiring him late and possibly taking him out in 10 or 11, similar to the way Vargas went out. Mayorga may last the distance though, he's got a good chin, but who knows what he has left after the beating he received from the Puerto Rican superstar. Oscar wins easy. After this fight Oscar will have his final fight on or around September 16 with Floyd or Zab at Welter.

Correction - DLH WAS a master boxer. Now he's an old DLH who will not have enough to beat a determined Mayorga at 154. Tito had the power to stop him but DLH doesn't have the power or the defense to win this fight.

          Mayorga by UD.

LoL...DLH "WAS" is right...has everyone forgot he went in looking like the pillsbourgh dough boy for the Strum fight (where he was owned)he fades in the late rounds especailly now, he lost his last three fights, went down like a ***** with one shot to the liver....DLH is a shawdow of his former self.

I am not gonna say Mayorga is gonna out box this guy, but what he will do is bring the heat...when DLH uses that funny defense where he turns and tucks one elbow in...Mayorga will let the hands go, yea Mayo will get tagged by the jab but he is not gonna get knocked out by DLHs jab...DLH fades and starts getting on his bike like he did with TITO, Spinks set the blue print for beating mayo and he still got caught...I don't think DLH has the stamina nor the legs to run like Spinks did once he gets caught its gonna be very interesting for the golden girl...

Its a tough fight for MAYO but he has a punchers chance...I will bet all my points come May 6th...and prolly lay some real $$ down cuz the odds will be insane for DLH and it will be tempting as hell...

This should make for one hell of a fight, no matter who you like/hate out of these 2 guys. Can't wait for IdontWatchBoxing to come in here on that "oscar's fightin' Tito leftovers" ****. Good times.

                Clinic

Oscar will put on a complete clinic and expose every technical flaw the untechnical mayorga has. You can't base fighters on thier last performance. If this fight is at Welter, you'll see a very much improved Oscar. He has appeared to be in pretty good shape recently which means he's taking care of himself in the "off season". We all know what Mayorga is probably doing. Oscar will dominate and make Mayorga look silly and turn in a "No Mas" much like the way Duran did so many years ago.

Please...DLH bloats up to 190's, he hasn't been in shape for a while...Mayo drinks and smokes, he just doesn't hide it and he doesn't go up to pilboury dough boy status like DLH. "No mas"..theres no way DLH can out put the type of punishment TITO did and he still got up, don't expect a no mas...at least not from mayo lets not forget when things got rough DLH just took a dive with HOPKINS..

But it is what it is, can't wait to hear the trash talking and the press confrences LOL..

                    Mayo will quit

He will give up from frustration. Mayorga has no skills. Mayorga could not touch Cory and look what glass jaw Judah did to him. Mayorga is so over rated. DLH is no heavier than 165 right now.

Did you see cory's lip after the fight? He must had like 2 real knock downs, the other "slips" were him running out of the way, hell if it weren't for the points deducted things would have been different...but whatever thats mayorga's own fault for not cutting of the ring...yes he is lacking in technique not gonna argue with you their, but he makes up for that with the constant output and pressure added with a great chin it makes for a good match. Prime DLH not a chance...but this is not the same DLH..thats my point, and I don't see Mayo quiting he could have stayed in the corner after the 5th round with TITO and he came out for more, his heart and ego wont let him quit..besides DLH is not gonna land 25% of the power shots that TITO did, plus he will tire from getting on his bike early in the fight..
