after the 1st fight oscar fought steve forbes in a warm up for an expected rematch,in the last few rounds of that fight oscar looked like he was struggling-floyd retired and that was the end of it.so since the 1st fight oscar has struggled with a journeyman,been used as a punchbag by manny and got addicted to drink and drugs thus having to spend time in rehab.would be like tyson coming back to fight vitali !!!!

i truly believe floyd carried oscar late in their fight (not in the sense that he was hurt) to make a rematch possible.


if they fought again, however, floyd would knock him out.


oscar is not only past his physical prime he's coming off of a beating, and he's been using drugs for many years. he's admitted he's finished.
he's past his mental prime. he's not the guy he used to be.

floyd would pick him apart and bust his face up. there's really no need for it.

i don't think he'd make it out of his corner for more than ten rounds



oscar would still be a huge name if he came back.
people outside of boxing know the name oscar de la hoya, and they know his face.

Well since Floyd is obviously juicing. I wouldn't mind seeing him give Oscar, a Pac like beating. Or an Ortiz type of ending works as well.
