Great heart. IT's by far one of his best assets. Without it, he would have been beaten many, many more times than he has. He's not the best defensive fighter and has taken a lot of punishment in past fights and it was his heart and will that got him through.
As for the tapping his gloves together thing, one of the my favourite moment in recent boxing is when he does it against Morales in their first fight and Morales does a hilarious imitation of it, taking the piss, and then pounds him.Comment

Yes, but some pro fighter have more heart, which is why they make better pro fighters than others. Heart ie. being a warrior, is an important part of boxing and being a great champion. Pac has great heart and is a warrior.Comment

This guy is butt naked somewhere in the middle of Greece.
This guy is on MTV Cribs.
He is not a warrior he is a boxer, don't make him out to be more then he is.Comment

Tapping his gloves together is actually his way of expressing approval, like .."good shot". He occasionally nods at the same time. He has lots of heart, but in the Morales fight which he lost, and in both Marquez fights, althouugh he constantly kept trying, he seemed to me to be looking a bit discouraged from time-to-time, as if he felt it was not going the way that he expected and wanted.Comment

Looking back at his humble beginning, he has the heart of a true great champion not only because of his chin or warrior mentality but that way he overcomes all the hurdles in his life. Anybody who denying it should kill himself.
1. Abandoned by their father at very young age. Pac forced to stop his study and sells anything at the street to help his mother and younger siblings for their daily needs.
2. He went to Manila and worked in junk shop, construction worker, selling cigarettes in the street of manila, sleeping at cardboard boxes, that didn't stop him practicing his boxing skills.
3. Turned pro at the age of 15-16 and fought adult boxers, suffered his 3 losses but he never give up and used it as a learned experience.
4. He was a one dimentional at first early in his career but never stop to learn new things and improve it and look at him right now.
5. He achieved great things even at his early age. At the age of 24 he was already a 3 divisions champ, 2 linear champ, champ at the age of 19. By the age of 30, he was already a 7 divisions champ, 4 linear champ, a pro boxer from 106-147, p4p#1, 3 times fighter of the year and fighter of the Decade.
Without the heart of a true champion, Pac will never achieve these great accomplishments.Last edited by straightleft; 09-27-2011, 11:23 PM.Comment
