Bob Arum had high hopes for Cintron he was supposed to be build up to a mega fight with either of the two biggest Top Rank superstars Cotto and Pacquiao. That was a bust signing by Arum but just like in other sports every signing has its risks.

Cintron's signing by Top Rank had a bit of hoopla attached to it because he was looked at as a possible future opponent for Cotto and a long shot for Pac. But his 2 fights since returning he looked like complete ****, looked absolutely shot. Top Rank cut it's losses before it really cost them anything.
