    Future 147 guy

Who do you guys think will be the top dog in the 147 division after Flyod and Manny retire and why do you think so?

The three guys that I think would do real good are Bradley, Khan, and Robert Guerrero. Out of these three I think Bradley is the most complete fighter but Khan is the more talented one. However he still needs more experience and needs to work on his defense, and the lunging in problem that he has. RG is another fighter i am a big fan of and I think he would give anyone a run for their money.

Lets see if we can get a consensus through the poll
    39
    Timothy Bradley
    5.13%
    2
    Amir Khan
    64.10%
    25
    Robert Guerrero
    7.69%
    3
    Marcos Maidan
    2.56%
    1
    Lucas Matheyesse
    5.13%
    2
    Victor Ortiz
    15.38%
    6
    Andre Berto
    0.00%
    0
    Devon Alexander
    0.00%
    0
    Lamont Peterson
    0.00%

    The poll is expired.

    Khan might be that guy.

Bradley just looks really small at WW to me.

Khan quite clearly out of that list, Bradley lacks the power to trouble WW's and is too small IMO, Khan just may be the next WW to beat. Guerrero I'm not sure about, I've yet to see him fight above 135lbs, Maidana will be a Top 10 guy as a WW but I don't see him as the next No.1, Ortiz is one of the best in the division, despite his loss to Floyd, I think he's still up there, apart from that, I can't see anybody that I haven't mentioned from that list become a top dog.

I still like Kell Brook, though he needs to start stepping up his competition.

Very Promising Prospect indeed, I agree that he needs a boost in his level of opposition.

Yeah Kell Brook seems good but I wanna see him fight a top 10 guy before i can make a judgement on him

Brandon Rios, Mike Jones, and Selcuk Aydin are other fighters to consider. There's also some young prospects like Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter.

True, it's impossible to tell with the competition he's fought. I was pretty impressed with Berto until I saw the Collazo fight and James Kirkland looked like a world beater against cans. But I like what I see from Brook so far.
