          Good article

But less significant than Martinez/Barker? That fight is an exhibition fight that just so happens to showcase the MW champ.

Marquez/Pac 3 is a good fight, but by no means historically relevant in the grand scheme of things, plus at a weight where JMM needs to eat twinkies to make weight. They both are HoF fighters at this point and the only relevant thing that can happen is that in the oft chance JMM wins, we'll miss out on Pac/Mayweather

Hopkins/Dawson is only relevant because BHop is the same age as my father, nothing more and nothing less. Dawson got beat up by a guy that Hopkins beat up two times, in his home town. So its not like is a fight with a lot of shine and luster as it may have been 2 years ago.

This fight is more relevant because of the redemption/revenge and its essentially a career defining fight for both fighters. I mean their first one is an instant classic and this one I believe will be too, although I don't think Cotto will go toe to toe much.

I think this will be Cotto's HoF fight, since he's probably on the fringes. If he loses, then he may not make it, if he does win and is impressive, then he may stamp his entrance in, because he'll exact revenge against an arch type that he is associated with having problems with, plus it'll guarantee to generate a trilogy, which I always believe every great fighter has, or should have.

Add in all of the drama(plus a hell of an undercard) and I don't see how anyone can't be uber hyped for this. I can guarantee one thing...the atmosphere at the Garden will be INSANE. Like Cotto-Judah insane.
            I don't know about amazing. Martinez-Barker is significant...really?

Forgot to mention, the article also states that Cotto believes Margarito loaded his gloves against him. Why is Cotto contradicting himself?

So you don't think Cotto has amassed a HoF worthy ledger? Or at least close enough?

I personally think he's on the fringes and if he can win impressively against the guy that popped his cherry, his only loss that isn't answered for is against Pacman and if his career when its all said and done features only a loss to Pacquaio, I'd say he'd had a pretty good career.

Who else can he beat outside of Pacquaio or Mayweather that would get him into the HoF, why not the guy that took him out?

You know shit is on when it leaves Kellerman at a loss for words...awesome article! Got me all excited now.

RE: Cotto being HoF worthy discussion above...the guy is fringe right now. If it were up to *******s and Ricans he would be an ATG...the guy needs to write his own destiny if he really belongs in there.
