Im a big Sergio fan but I like Barker. Hes just nowhere near ready for this. I dont think he'll ever be tbh. Wouldnt be upset if he won though. I just hope he puts up a good effort at least

Fight gets called of after Barker faints at the weigh in stare down.

I reckon Barker wins a decision
Nah, hes up at 8/1 just on the result. Its £20 I can afford to lose, but if he wins its a night out.

Barker - Martinez is worse than Pavlik - Lockett

I'm rooting for the underdog Barker, because it would be poetic justice for a hand-picked opponent chosen for an easy fight to win an upset.

I think there's little or no chance he will win though - Barker is decent, but he's not on the same level as Sergio.

EVERYONE thought Saul Alvarez was going to KO Matthew Hatton within 3 rounds and looked what happened in that fight.

I think Barker will suprise alot of people in this fight and i think it will be closer than people think.

Barker hardly looked great against Spada or Belghecham. Both are European gatekeepers.

Barker hasn't fought for 6 months either, something that is going to be detrimental to his chances against Martinez. He didn't look great against Spada because he had no fought for a year, so surely he'd want to keep himself active with an easy a few months prior to the encounter with the LMW/MW king?.

He is a good bloke, but he is not winning this fight unless a miracle happens.
