Not saying who would be who, but how great would it be if Floyd had 145 fights under his belt? I am sure the old guys would chuckle at how "often" these young super stars fight. If the old guys did it, why can't the young guys? Serious question.

ok...
guilty. you got me
same thing happens with manny pacquiao
i go through my days on boxingscene typically being disgusted with the bulk of their fanbases. manny throwing shots wide open and floyd in a classic boxing pose usually.
home and work computers.
and yet when either of them have a fight upcoming;
boom i got my background on my computer as some glory shot of one or the other. manny throwing shots wide open and floyd in a classic boxing pose usually.
home and work computers.
and any casual fan who asks me about the fight will get an earful about how great they are. AN EARFUL.
like a schoolgirl
especially with floyd fights. it's the infrequency. the impending threat of a 12 month + layoff
gotta be a fan of these guys while i have the chance
cant let the other "fans" keep me away from that
oh yeah
and marquez and hopkins too. they don't really have fanboys. cotto in his pre-pacquiao round 4-5 (second knockdown, the one he didn't see that shook him real bad and changed the look on his face) days as well, when he was still willing to go out swingingLast edited by New England; 09-27-2011, 04:46 PM.

By age of 34 Floyd has fought 42 professional fights
By age of 34 Sugar Ray Robinson fought 145 professional fights
145! Amazing.
All due respect............ you're being ******.
"To be fair, no fighter is very active in comparison". So, why are you singling out Mayweather, and claiming that THIS, of all reasons, is why you dislike him?
Basically, you're saying that you dislike every fighter doing it today, because by the time they're 34, they won't have 145 fights.
So, why are you on a boxing forum, if you dislike all boxers for not comparing to SRR?
