No one else is willing, except for worst choices like Welliver, Harris, etc and people Wlad's already fought like Rahman, Chagaev, etc.

He doesnt wanna sit on his ass and wait until next year, he would rather stay busy and active. Nobody wants to fight him until they are ready.

Unlike in the other divisions where people calling out the champions all the time and talking smack. Wlad and Vitali cleaned division so badly nobody even wants to fight them anymore unless they just looking for some $$$.

Jesus Christ this forum is filled with idiots.

Do 10 minutes of research and you will see that the guys ahead of Mormeck in the rankings either have ducked Wlad or stated an intention to wait on the fight.

Mormeck is ranked by both the IBF and WBO and like it or not he is just as good as the alternatives for a December date like Maurice Harris or Alexander Ustinov.

It drives me nuts to see people criticize champions for being active and determined to fight no matter who is put in front of them. Some of the morons posting in this thread would lead you to believe it's better for the sport if Wlad just sits on the sideline for a year and a half twiddling his thumbs waiting for someone to develop enough to pose a challenge.

Hell the main reason Wlad is considering this fight is because he is so active he has alreayd beaten everyone else willing to fight him.

And any way you cut it Mormeck is just as good or better than a lot of the title defenses of Joe Louis and Larry Holmes. Marvis Frazier anyone?
