Of course he would have, smart fighters are taught to. Khan is one of the few who appropriately DIVE right on his opponent when they stop for that split second to adjust their protector. No doubt in my mind khan would have done that for a victory.

However, I see the same type of thing happening to khan as well as he's also quick to want a hug and kiss. Remember Maidana almost killing him, then he comes out wanting to touch gloves for it? He almost got splattered again while sticking his arm out.

I have to agree though - Khan would have tried to BUT he doesn't have the power to drop Ortiz *smile* Khan talks too much Wazaa - he probably talks himself into a Mayweather match but he will loose bad against May... I mean it's no shame in that but STILL... at least he wants too I give him props for that but still doesn't change the outcome
