Martinez beats the hell out of both
Tony would man up and take the fight though
    Cotto wouldn't face Martinez

pacquiao, mayweather, and cotto have all paid their dues. . . khan and canelo and chavez also don't call themselves "the peoples champ" and aren't viewed as the number 3 pound for pounder's. . . canelo is still up and coming and developing. . .

pacquiao has gone through 8 weight classes. . . mayweather has gone though 6. . . mayweather fought ortiz, who was basically one of the toughest fights he could have fought aside from pac. . .

if margarito beats cotto, there's no other fight out there for margs. he might as well offer his ass up on a silver platter for serg.

i can see a mayweather fight, maybe even a khan fight for cotto, i don't see the same for margs cause even though he seems shot to ****, he's still too much of a threat for the canelo's and khan's of the world today.

            Stop talking bull****.

just because martinez is looking for bigger paydays, like a lot of fighters do, doesn't mean he's ducking some undefeated guy with only 19 pro fights, that's ridiculous man. same thing goes for peter quillin, both guys are good fighters, but they're not proven or bring in serious $$$ to where martinez NEEDS to fight them, they're just possible opponents for now. if they continue on their path, and build some fanbase, trust me, those fights will happen. as a martinez fan, i wouldn't mind seeing them happen now, but i also understand if they're not in a hurry to fight either guy (right after barker or instead of barker).
this barker fight thats happening on saturday night, some of his people said right after the dzinziruk win that they're planning on taking an easy fight, this one is it.

pacquiao and mayweather have a date with each other - so in the meantime i'd say they fight pretty tough fights. . . except mosley for pacquiao. . .

and like i said, i think ortiz was the best fight for mayweather. . .

pac and floyd sure as HELL ain't fighting guys they are 26-1 favorites over!

lol wtf? i thought we were boxingscene boys? you agree with sergio's stance; i do not agree with sergio's stance - no need to cancel out everything else we agree on!

martinez is no more popular nor brings no more money to the table than pirog. . . in fact, id go as far to say that pirog can draw bigger gate in russia than sergio can in USA. . . sergio wants to take "the road MOST travelled by". . . that is not acceptable for me. . . see robert frost's poem "the road less traveled"

what exactly do you not agree on? he never said he's not going to fight pirog. find me one interview or article of him saying that, not dibella, him. he wants a payday like any other fighter. he can still make 154, so why not challenge the winner of cotto/margs? i don't agree with him trying to get a shot at pac or may, but i'm pretty sure they're not paying attention to him, so it isn't going to be anything more than discussion. like i said before, if pirog keeps winning and making a name for himself, it will happen.

The difference is that Pac and Floyd can pretty much fight ANYONE they want that's ranked in jr welterweight to welterweight. Pac fighting a complete bum with the dozens of options he has would be inexcusable. On the other hand, NOBODY ranked (other than Pirog) wants to fight Martinez at jr middleweight through middleweight. And Pirog hasn't proven jacksquat to convince me he's up to fighting on the higher level. Anyone can look good fighting bums. And yes I know, Barker hasn't done jacksquat either and that fight is **** as well. Last thing I want to see is Martinez fight two unproven fighters in a row. Have Pirog fight any other top middleweight and he'll convince me.
