Let me rephrase. Why does every middleweight fight have to be Martinez vs "______" and ONLY Martinez vs "________"? Has Pirog called out anyone else besides Martinez? Or is he going to continue to fight bums in Russia as long as he doesn't get a shot at Martinez? Martinez is probably moving down to 154 anyway so he might as well be calling out other fighters in addition to Martinez.

According to Martineze's promoter "Pirog is nothing and a nobody". aka Easy fight. Instead of fighting a easy fight with Pirog they go with barker?Pirog been trying to get Martinez for a quick minute.

I have a strong feeling that Martinez is overrated and they are trying to cash him out with a Floyd/Manny fight before he gets embarrassed by someone like Pirog and his stock falls like the S&P

Nah, Pirog is in his right to call out Martinez since both are at Middle Weight and Martinez is the man to beat at 160, so it is understandable BUT people thinking Martinez is ducking Pirog are bugging. No way I would pick Pirog over Martinez.

I have no problem with Pirog calling out Martinez. What I have problem with is that he's ONLY calling out Martinez. There are 10 top middleweights he could be challenging and they would all be interesting fights. Martinez/Dibella already said they would consider Pirog if he were to beat someone significant of note, but he's not even trying. I mean, after Daniel Geal beat Sebastion Sylvester, Martinez immediately gave him a shot. Macklin also got in the Martinez sweepstakes when he was robbed in the Sturm fight. As of right now, Pirog is just a paper champion and brings nothing to the table. Even worst is that Martinez has a grudge against the WBO so the belt Pirog has is especially meaningless to Martinez.
